Yasser Gad  Egyptian artist and researcher born in Cairo in 1969. He graduated from Ain Shams University with a degree in Antiquity Studies and has a background working at the Ministry of Culture. His art focuses on modern and contemporary Egyptian practices, using various mediums like charcoal, oil, and gold leaf, often depicting architectural themes with metaphorical meanings. Gad’s art depicts a unique subjective view of societal, environmental and sociological occurrences; enriched by both his personal, poetic viewpoints and a solid academic background.
